Harley Davidson Street Tracker
The results of 18 months hard work, this 2006 883 Sportster has had substantial work, and with the sacrifice of a KTM has become something truly unique.
A complete front end transplant has transformed the old laid back cruiser into a carving machine. This has been achieved with a combination of custom milled aluminium billet fork trees, and White Power USD forks from a 1997 KTM 620 Duke.
The rear sub-frame has been shortened with the swing arm reinforced with an extra box section, along with the chain snail cam adjusters from the KTM to give accurate chain adjustment. The fuel tank has been replaced and a custom 45mm stainless steel exhaust is added, finished with a pair of G&G R6 GP silencers.
Excel Takasago wheels and Brembo brakes are added to this build to ensure solid handling and stopping, not often a Harley is described as nimble!
The frame, brackets, rocker covers and engine covers were all powder coated in gloss black, with the petrol tank, side panels and rear mudguard being hand-painted and airbrushed by “Hairy Designs” of Buckingham and is an exceptional finish. The pearl is truly wonderful in direct sunlight.
