I started my photography training at GLOSCAT on GLoucester in 2004. Originally I wanted to be a graphic designer, but soon developed (excuse the pun!) a love for taking photographs. So, I started on an AS Photography course, achieving a grade "C". I then moved on to do a HND in Photography at Swindon College, and completed that course in May 2008 receiving Merits and Distinctions.

You may be wondering why I am a female taking photographs of vehicles, as it is not what you would normally find a female specialising in.

Well, I have been brought up around all kinds of cars since I was born, starting with American cars, and progressing to vintage cars and steam engines.

I have now developed my own love of the classic Mini, running a Mini club myself and having a race-tuned Mini Van as my everyday car.

It just seemed the natural subject to specialise in photographing!

I use this love of photography and of transport to take photos for many magazines including Mini Magazine and Vintage Spirit magazine. I also work for Cotswold Life magazine and the Stroud News and Journal (my local newspaper) photographing more general subjects.

My ambition is to, one day, take photographs for magazines such as Top Gear, EVO and Max Power, but I know I have to slowly work up the ladder to that!
